The best way to control vine weevil is to apply nematodes at three times. 

In spring from mid-March through mid-May, when temperatures are above 10 degrees and the vine weevil larvae become active. Then in August, when a new load of larvae hatches. Finally, another repeat treatment in October to control larvae that hatched later.
